‘Vettaikkaran’ that missed the Diwali race was eagerly awaited for this Pongal. The mass masala entertainer completed its entire shooting with a song sequence in Pune and is almost ready to hit the floor. However gossip mills is abuzz that certain parts of the film are to be re-shot as few scenes are not up to the satisfactory mark. Sun Pictures has finally put an end to this guessing game. The big banner announced today that the movie will hit the screens on December 18th.
On the other hand sources close to the film had it that ‘Vettaikkaran’ has passed the scissors of censor with a U/A certificate last week.

Anushka ,Vijay film Vettaikaaran audio releasedin Chennai today. This film is produced under the banner AVM and distributed by Sun Pictures. Arundhathi Anushka is the lead lady opposite Vijay. Music is scored by Vijay Antony.
The recent hit movie’Kick’delivered by RR Movie Makers is coming up with another film starring hit pair Gopichand and Anushka. This will be produced by Venkat and will be launched on the auspicious day of Vijayadasami, Co-producer Suresh Reddy says that this is another hit combination and RR Movie Makers will surely succeed this time too. Apparently this film happens to be Gopichand’s film after Sankham’s release. The film is being presented by Acchi Reddy, the details of which will be made available soon.
Chandra – personal Make-up artist of Nagarjuna will be turning producer and making a movie with Anushka as heroine. He won Nandi award in the past for his work in Seetarama Raju, Annamayya and Sri Ramadasu. It is a heroine oriented film that is going to be produced on Sai Ratna creations banner. Rajasthan Schedule Complete
The fourth schedule of Superstar Mahesh's & Anushka upcoming movie under the direction ofTrivikram Srinivas has been completed in Rajasthan. The crew will be leaving Rajasthantomorrow. An action sequence and some crucial scenes have been completed in thisschedule. Superstar Mahesh will be leaving to Mumbai and will be back in Hyderabad in aweek. Next Schedule on 24th july in hyderabad fight scnes will b shot again
Meanwhile a village set will be erected at Shankarapally,Out skirts of Hyd.The next schedule will resume with a fight sequence from 24th of this month in hyd.Mahesh will join the team from 26th of this month.A song will be shot after the Action episode.The shooting will shift to the village set in the month of august.

Triple platinum disc function of Prabhas’s latest film Billa was held at Taj Krishna, Hyderabad on the night of 12 May. This function was attended by Krishnam Raju, VV Vinayak, Doraswamy Raju, Prabhas, Anushka, D Narendra, LVR, Lahari, Sunil, Subbaraju and Meher Ramesh.
Shyamala Devi (Mrs. Krishnam Raju) said, “We are indebted to the movie lovers for making Billa a hit film. Krishnam Raju did well in the movie. My kids watched Billa 10 times for Prabhas. Director handled the film deftly. Anushka treated this banner as her own and cooperated with us.”
Prabhas said, “This film was executed in 4 and half months. It was a herculean task and everybody worked hard towards getting the movie out so soon. I am happy that my film with Krishnam Raju combination became a hit. Nobody worked for money. Everybody worked for the success of the movie. I want to thank my fans for helping us out getting pirates punished.”
Billa crossed Jalsa in my theater – VV Vinayak
VV Vinayak said, “Meher Ramesh made the movie with high quality content. It is above the quality standards of a Telugu cinema. People might think that it is easy to do a remake. But its difficult to do a remake movie and its easy to do a straight film. Meher Ramesh’s conception of climax needs lots of guts. I have good relationship with Prabhas’s family members though I directed only one film with Prabhas. Anushka is considerate heroine. I happen to be the exhibitor of Billa film. Jalsa got 1 lac share in the first week in our theater and Billa generated 1.15 lac in the first week. I am happy that Billa is a huge success.”
Billa collected 16.5 crores share in 3 weeks – Krishnam Raju
Krishnam Raju said, “I am very happy that this movie did amazing business at box office. It is not an easy task to collect a share of 16.5 crores in 3 weeks. I would like to thank all exhibitors on this eve. Prabhas worked really hard to get his body in shape. He skipped usual meals and did rigorous exercises. Prabhas opined that I might not produce Billa because it’s going to cost a lot. He was surprised when I accepted to produce this movie. Director Meher Ramesh narrated the climax of the film well, but could not execute it as per my expectations. We had three festivals (Dasara, Deepavali and December 31st) during the making of Billa and we celebrated it with the unit. Though Mani Sharma could not score the music.
Anushka Shetty, who is raising high in the southern film circuit with her Tollywood successful film ARUNDHATI, is going to make her Kannada debut soon. LONDON GOUDA which is said to be a remake of 2007 bollywood blockbuster is in the remake and Upendra is said to be the lead hero in this film who will play the role of Akshay Kumar.
Recently, Katrina’s role was confirmed to be played by Sneha Ullal who has her own seducing talents. Earlier, the role was offered to Anushka in April, but due to some personnel reasons, the actress did not commit for this film.
Now, Upendra has approached the seductive actress for playing the role his film’s lead actress. The movie is said to be an action oriented movie with UPPI playing the role of an encounter specialist. Some sources reveal that Anushka Shetty has been offered the role of a Yoga Teacher in this film.

Telugu leading lady Anushka Shetty returns to the Tamil film industry after a three-year hiatus, writes KK Moidu
Anushka made her Tamil film debut three years ago opposite R Madhavan in Rendu. The film, directed by Sundar C, was a moderate success at the box office.
She is now returning to the Tamil industry as the heroine of two popular young Tamil heroes, Karthi and Vijay, in forthcoming films Siruthai and Vettaikkaran respectively.
Anushka is the lady love of Karthik Shivakumar in Siruthai directed by Suraj, who has delivered hits like Thalainagaram, Marudhamalai etc. Yuvan Shankar Raja scores music for the film. Siruthai will be produced by Studio Green and distributed by Ayngaran International. The film is a remake of superhit Telugu film Vikramarkudu, where Anushka played the female lead opposite Ravi Teja.
Anushka plays one of the heroines in Ilayathalapathi Vijay's Vettaikkaran. Tamanna Bhatia will play the other heroine in the film. It is produced by AVM Balasubramanian and directed by Babu Sivan, an earlier assistant of Dharani. Her fans hope the forthcoming films with success guaranteed heroes will make her a recognised heroine in the Tamil industry.

Anushka played an ill-tempered businesswoman in the big budget romantic triangle Swagatam, directed by Dasaradh. Jagapathi Babu played the male lead in the film and Anushka's character Shailu finds a new perspective in life with the assistance of the hero and falls in love with him, who is a widower. Although the film won rave reviews, it was a commercial let down. Jagapathi Babu, the other heroine of the film Bhoomika and the director walked away with credits.
Anushka played a glamour role as one of the heroines in Okka Magaadu starring Balakrishna. She also rendered her voice for the song Ammatho with Naveen for the film.
Anushka as Sunitha won appreciation for her perfect pairing opposite victory Venkatesh as one of the heroines in the romantic comedy Chintakayala Ravi. Mamta Mohandas played the other heroine's role in the hilarious entertainer. Vedam will have five important characters and three of the characters will be donned by Allu Arjun, Manoj Manchu and Anushka. These three characters will contribute to 80% of the screen time. There will be two more important roles. MM Keeravani composes music to this movie.
Allu Arjun was cast first. Manoj Manchu was cast second. Anushka signed on the dotted line today evening. Anushka has been roped in as the leading lady for the hot Tamil hero Suriya and the film has been titled ‘Singam’. Apparently, the director of the film Hari is known to have a sentiment that he would shoot his movies at one place only from start to finish.
This time, he is said to have chosen the divine town of Rameshwaram and if that is confirmed then it could well be that Anushka might have to stay at the sea side town for quite some time. Suriya is said to be donning the role of a cop in this one. Enjoy your holy stay Anushka!!!
